You might remember the debut Jordan Ultra Fly www.topretroshop.com as the head-turning almost alien-like model that an on-fire Jimmy Butler wore during the Bulls playoff push last season. The Kurim upper was flexible and unique enough to warrant your attention, and showed that Jordan Brand was willing to experiment with their on-court models while the retro release slate held down the purists out there. Today we get a look at the sequel, and there s no denying that the Jordan Ultra Fly 2 is heavily influenced by the Air Jordan 15. You can tell right away based on the Ultra Fly s tongue, one that juts out in a similar Flight inspired motif as the Jordan 15 retro. The slip-on mesh upper even features a woven-like pattern until it gives way to the modern Tape-esque tech on the mudguard for lockdown support. There s Zoom Air to hold down the cushioning system while a wavy midsole adds unique definition to the otherwise retro-based model. What do you think of the look?

Jordan Brand entered full March Madness mode when they showcased some Jordan 31 Low PEs for their sponsored basketball shoes for men college teams headed into the annual tournament, and you could actually grab them at retail if you were a fan of the likes of UNC, Michigan, Georgetown, Marquette, or Cal State. If you re looking for some unaffiliated colorways though, we have some good news for you. Jordan Brand just previewed three new upcoming colorways of their latest performance model, as the basketball shoes on sale usual Flyweave gradient perfectly matches the premium leather tongue and heel in the low-top variation. We might even go as far to say as we prefer the Air Jordan 31 Low to its normal mid-top counterpart. Sure, the Swoosh branding is ditched entirely here as is the overall Air Jordan 1 motif, but with a UNC-esque Navy/Carolina Blue, simple Black/White, and White/Ice options, these will all look great both on and off the court.

We already know that the Air Jordan 13 Low Chutney is releasing this year, but you ll be pleased to know that its fellow OG Low-top 13, the Navy Blue colorway, is also releasing in stores in both adult and kids sizes. According to Foot Locker s release date page, an Air Jordan 13 Low in Brave Blue, Metallic Silver, and Black is set to release on April 8th, and that color description is on target with the original release from 1998. While photos of the 2017 Retro version have yet to surface, the confirmed information is now out there. Stay tuned for a first look.

The Jordan 3 Katrina is finally releasing this Holiday 2017 season alongside the Jordan 3 Black Cat for what could be the two premier releases for Jordan Brand s Fall/Winter retro collection. The Jordan 3 Katrina was a special version of the Air Jordan 3 Retro created exclusively for charity auctions supporting relief efforts in Hurricane Katrina s aftermath back in 2006. Now over a decade later, we ll finally see the Chicago-esque pair featuring a matching red lining and midsole release at retailers. The Air Jordan 3 Black Cat first released back in 2007 featuring an all black colorway with premium patent leather on the mudguard, nubuck, and jet black elephant print for a simple classic that fits right in with the Jumpman s current all-black overhauling of select retro models. Stay tuned for more Jordan Release Dates right here on Sneaker News and let us know which pair you re more excited about in the comments section below.

Good news for those of you that wanted a pair of the coming Air Jordan 1 Red October but were a bit worried about the colorway being a GS exclusive: today we get an official look at more monochromatic suede renditions in adult sizes slated to arrive later this Spring 2017 season as part of the Air Jordan 1 Suede Collection. The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG has been featured in plenty of original 1985 colorways lately, and with the Royal 1s slated to release April 1st and steal most of the deserved limelight, these lifestyle inspirations might go under the radar. We re still unsure if the Cool Grey version will be available in adult sizes, but it seems rather likely given the appearance of these two colorways (and that might just be the best colorway in the Air Jordan 1 Suede Collection given the KAWS-esque vibe and the simple, understated tonal quality of the light grey shade). simple, understated tonal quality of the light grey shade).
